5 Wineries for 5 Continents
5th Essence Wines is a new Export Group, set up by 5 small, young, family-run wineries from different regions of Spain: Casalobos (Montes de Toledo), Carabal (Ribera del Guadiana), Estancia Piedra (Duero), Pasoslargos (Ronda) and Pago de Larrainzar (Navarra). We all have a common challenge: to offer high quality wines, with strong personalities; wines to feel and to enjoy. We seek excellence through the direct relationship between wine and its place of origin.
All of us, producers with their own history, are referents in our regions, and we have all surprised consumers and critics alike, both with our personality and quality. We share a purpose: the will to produce very personal wines, the fruit of serious, constant and uncompromising work, with its own distinctive style. In 2008 we joint forces to offer a wide portfolio, in order to be also recognised in the international scene. 5th Essence Wines is conceived in the same spirit as our wines, and we transmit to it a large part of our striking personalities. 5th Essence Wines is our international showcase, our Export Department.
Our philosophy, and the values that join us, are based in extracting the very best from exceptional vineyards to achieve singular and unique wines. We look for the quality of the best grapes in our own properties. Our wines seek to illustrate the character of our lands and they show everything we are. Because, above all, 5th Essence Wines is the reflection of our desires, our paths and the reflection of us, people that make unique wines.
Because of that, all our wines are different, although they share the same values, the same way of understanding and loving the wine world, and also the same oenologist, Ignacio de Miguel, who studied with Michel Rolland, expert in obtaining the very best of every estate.
Wines from different varieties, winemaking and blending. Wines for every taste, produced from unique vineyards, with a careful production and very limited quantities. Wines that catch the soul of our estates, but that at the same time will conquer the international consumer.
